The Arabization of Health Sciences Center building project:
Location: South Surra area – Hawalli governorate.
Total area of the site: 11,602.58 m².
Beneficiary: Council of Ministers.
The Ministry of Public Works has completed the Arabization of Health Science Center project in order to fulfil
Kuwait’s commitment towards the Arab Health Ministers and the Arab League to establish the permanent
headquarters for the Arabization of Health Sciences and the provision of basic tools such as books, references and
specialized medical dictionaries in Arabic.
The center includes four sectors. It is located on a land area of 5702 m² and features a high-quality interior finishes
and an architectural character that combines both Islamic and modern architecture.
The building consists of administrative offices and their services, a lecture hall that accommodates up to 200
people, meeting rooms, library, and spaces for display and special events. The building’s modern systems with
high-tech components support those rooms.

A basement with an area of ​​4791.97 m².
It Contains Press, book stores, furniture store, and staff
offices.
A Ground floor with an area of ​​2025.37 m².
It contains the entrance and reception hall, seminars hall
and its accessories, and
Mezzanine museum.
The first floor with an area of ​​ 1624.26 m².
It contains the Library Department and the IT Department.
The second floor with an area of ​​ 1467.01 m².
It contains the Accounting Department and Human
Resources - Authoring and Translation Department -
Publishing and Marketing Department.
The third floor with an area of ​​ 1394.18 m².
Contains Office of the General Secretary - Office of the
General Assistant Secretary - Technical Consultant Office.
The Rooftop floor and contains two mechanics rooms, two
pumps rooms, GRP tank, and Parking.
