From the Ministry of Public Works’ major projects that has been completed in the area of raising the
efficiency of sewage networks and improving their ability to meet the rates of population growth and
urbanization.
First:
Renewal of the sanitary sewers network project (8th stage – Part B( for “Al-Rai, Al-Riqae- Central
prison – Industrial Sulaibiya”:
Second:
Renewal of the sanitary sewers network project (8th stage – Part B) for “Al-Firdos – North Ardiya –
Ardiya2”
Completion date: Mars 2014
The project aims to improve the efficiency of the drainage
network and replace corroded pipes lines with new world-class
pipes that are resistance to corrosion, and replace the old
manholes with new ones padded with G.R.P with the
improvement and increase of the diameters, and the installation
of household links.
Completion date: May 2014
The project aims to improve the efficiency of the drainage
network, replace the manholes, re-installation of household links,
maintain the sewage flow, and the protection of all services and
facilities to restore the situation in the streets and sidewalks and
public site.
