A statement about the Pumping stations (PS ) in the state of Kuwait
Al- Jahra pumping station :
The raw wastewater pumping station has been established in Al-Jahra governorate to meet the needs of Sa'ad Al-Abdulla city's
domestic wastewater, south of the new Jahra city and south Amghara, and the incoming wastewater from the sewerage lifting
stations 18A and 19A. According to this plan, all the local sewerage stations will be linked together in the areas mentioned
above with 18A and 19A in the sewerage line that is coming from the new pumping station in Al-Jahra through the deep
sewerage line.
The station pumps the water to the Kabd treatment plant to be
treated and re-use it in the various cultivations.
The capacity of the plant design is 250,000 m³ / per day. And the
ability of pumping station is 180,000 m³ per day.
The depth of the receiving water is 37m from Earth surface.
