A Brief about the Government center for testing, quality control and research
The government center for tests and quality control and research with its multiple departments and laboratories, at the Ministry
of Public Works contributes to an active role in the provision of examination of construction materials services through testing
and research on all materials used in the implementation of the ministry's projects, government agencies, the people, and the
private sector. The center also follows-up the work in factories that are manufacturing construction materials to ensure product
quality, and to ensure compliance with safety procedures requirements in the projects implementation sites, for that it
represents the ministry's keenness to provide the best service for a nominal fee in order to adjust the quality of the materials
used in the manufacture of buildings and roads in the public and private projects in general.
The center’s works:
Special examinations and tests for the construction materials used in roads and buildings construction.
Quality control of projects, industrial products, and local or imported materials
Monitoring the application of the health and safety requirements for the ministry’s contracts, in addition to taking safety
measures for the building of the ministry and its buildings.
