نبذة عن نظام الصرف الصحي بدولة الكويت
A brief about The Sewerage System in Kuwait
From the Ministry of Public Works strategies and its most important goals is to develop and improve and raise the
performance of the sewerage network, because of their direct impact on the environment, as the process of sewage
disposal in healthy ways is necessary to provide a healthy environment for the communities in accordance with
international conditions and modern geometric ways, whereupon The ministry is preparing technical studies and
technical assistance for the development of facilities and the implementation of all projects related to the renewal of
sewerage systems and improve the performance of pumping, lifting, gathering and sewage treatment stations to benefit
from them, and raise the efficiency of sewage networks and improve their ability to meet the rates of population growth,
urbanization, and the steady increase in the number of population. This is done through the operation of the sewer lines
networks and all its facilities, as the public sewer network receives all household sewage discharged without
interruption, and transport these discharges to the pumping stations and then to the treatment plant after disposing it of
smells by chemical processes. The sewage water goes through the treatment process in multiple stages by mechanical
and technical ways so that the water becomes valid after treatment for agriculture and greening the country.
