Hawally Court Complex :
The Architectural design of the project adopted an Islamic Architecture shape. The architectural block shall allow to use
the location of the project in the best possible way . The architectural block also shows the importance and the
prestigious expectations of this building that is distinctive in its position.
The components of the project:
The building includes (30) floors including (52) court Halls. (40) of these halls are for court of first Instance and (12)
appeal Hall . The building provides enough space for desks about 17000 m2 with an accommodation of 1334
employees .Taking into consideration future development of different administrations . The building includes several
components such a legal library , coffee shops, prayer rooms , lecture halls , special occasion hall , requirements of
mechanic and servicing usage of the space , in addition to a parking lot with a capacity of 1200 of vehicles .
The parking lot with the security services is separated from the public parking lot. The three required types of the
parking lots are for cars passage. The three types of the parking lots are for public vehicles passage , special vehicles
(Judges) and the defendants parking lot . The three types of the parking lots are separated in order to achieve traffic
flow off the main entrances and exits in addition to emergency exits.
The total construction space of the parking lot is 71622 m2. The parking lot includes three underground floors :
basement , ground floor , mezzanine from the first floor to the sixth floor.
The total construction space of the courts and offices is : 72054 m2 from the seventh floor to the twenty fifth floor.
Benefited authority: Ministry of Justice.
Commencement date: June 2014.
The percentage of Achievement till December 4.83%.
The project is located in Hawally block 191 surrounded by Tunis street and
Beirut street behind Hawally fire station and Hawally Municiplity.
The space of the project: 9.000 m2.
The space of the buildings: 148.000 m2.
