Chapter 1 - Projects
First :
Construction, operation and maintenance of the remote control and observation center of sanitary
engineering of AL-Ardiya treatment plant .
Commencement date: May 2012.
The percentage of achievement till December 2014 : 73%.
The location: inside the water pumping station of AL - Ardiya in AL- Farwaniya governorate.
The total space of the location: 110.450 m2.
The space of the Flat construction land: 9.925 m2.
The space of the buildings' floors: 37.600 m2.
The project of controlling and observation of the sanitation net is considered the first of its kind in the Middle East in
Kuwait . It is distinctive in its special geographic location. It takes place inside AL - Ardiya between the fifth ring road
and the sixth ring road. It is also distinctive in its sophisticated design in terms of architectural luxury and its aesthetic
view . It is distinctive in its high level finishing works and its connection to all of the services. In addition to the wide
green planted areas which improve the environment of the neighboring area.
The purpose of the project :
connecting all of the treatment plants (of sewage water) to the remote controlling and observation system mainly in
Kuwait.
The project services the actual treatment plants by connecting them to a central remote controlling and observation
system. The future treatment plants will be also connected to this system.
The project consists of (4) buildings :
1-Controlling and observation central building.
2-Environment administration building .
3-Water purification sources administration building.
4- Central Services building.
The project also consists of services work and
external roads :
1-rain water drainage network .
2-Sanitation network.
3-water network.
4-external cable network.
5-Afforestation and planting around the building.
6-Roads inside the project.
7-a parking lot for 578 cars.
One of the major projects that the Ministry of Public Works is executing in the domain of sanitary
infrastructure services projects.
