The Sanitary Engineering Sector undertakes preparing designs, supervising the implementation of sanitary drainage networks, and pumping and lifting stations. In addition, it undertakes the operation and maintenance of the wastewater treatment plants, irrigation stations, and their structures. It also coordinates with the Kuwait Municipality and the competent entities to take over the sites and ensures that they are free of debris and other obstacles before starting the implementation. Moreover, it supervises the periodic and emergency maintenance of the facilities and buildings of the treated wastewater network, ensuring their suitability for work.
