- Projects - The most important ongoing projects

Construction of Flyover and other services on the Arabian Gulf Street at a roundabout

Commencement Date: February 2016

Executive Situation: The tenders for performing this part has been offered .

This project is located in the Governorate of Hawally and aims at the improvement of the movement of traffic at the area of Al

Bed’ Roundabout through building up an upper bridge on the coastal road to connect between Al Ta’awon street and Al Belajat

street, without changing the size or form of the roundabout due to the infrastructures surrounding it.

The project consists of:

Building up a bridge as tall as nearly 670 meter to connect between Al Ta’awon street and Al Belajat street above the existing

roundabout with 2 lanes at every direction in addition to Safety Lanes at both sides.

Transformation of existing services (water - Electricity - Phones - Irrigation - water processing).

Building up a separation lane on the roundabout to serve those who are coming from the Fifth Ring Road heading at Al

Ta’awon street.

Increasing the number of lanes at the entrances of Al Bed’ roundabout From Al Ta’awon street and Al Belajat street from 2

lanes to 3 lanes.

Renovating the existing water network lines and replacing it with lines of larger diameter to accommodate the current and

anticipated drainage flow.

Carrying out the building up of the drainage network line which serves the restaurants at Al Belajat street and linking it with the

line that serves Al Rumaithiya Area with diameter of 300 and average depth of 11.5 meter using Micro Tunneling system.

Building up a services ferry that is 660 meter long opposite the Diplomat Club and Al Sayadeen Diwaniya for Electricity and

Telephone Cables.
