Chapter 1 - Projects
Completion date: March 2014
The project aims to improve, develop, and increase the
performance of the road network in accordance with the
latest global standards and international standard
specifications for highways, streamline the traffic, and raise
the traffic safety level on the road network.
The project includes the construction of flyovers to get
around intersections with the introduction of service roads
and create all services related to roads, bridges and
tunnels to facilitate the traffic from Al Yarmok Area to King
Faisal Highway towards Kuwait Airport to ensure traffic
safety.
The project serves the entrances and exits of Al Sideq, Al
Yarmok, Qurtoba, and Khaitan areas.
The project consists of :
The improvement of the traffic light in intersection No.12
The construction of a flyover in intersection No.13
The construction of an entrance and an exit to Al Sideq
Area on King Faisal Highway.
The expansion of the current intersections’ slopes
The construction of service roads in intersections (13-14-
15) towards Al Sideq Area and Khaitan.
