 Cooperation with the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research, through the Commission accreditation and quality
control, which aims to:
 Seeking to implement ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 systems in the government center.
 Tests made in collaboration with the Research Institute to ensure the efficiency of the examinations.
 Review technical specifications and methods of accreditation for quality control management.
 Study of added materials to improve the properties of asphalt mixtures.
 Study the use of tire powder in asphalt mixes.
 Preparation for the application of the asphalt mix design by the Super Pave system.
 Development of the private data bank program that is specialized in materials quality and approved factories control
management to facilitate the acknowledgement of materials and factories that are approved by the Department of
Quality Control.
 Working on a contract with a global office to review and update the examination charts of the construction materials
approval’s requirement, In addition to the verification and validation of the test results of materials outside of Kuwait.
 Working on putting a particular rating for ready mixing plants to open the competition field to improve quality.
 Releasing the operating manual for the safety department during 2015.
 A guide for asphalt materials examination has been prepared and is being printed to distribute it on trainees.
 Intensification of training courses to get the approved certificates .
