The project aims to:
Make improvements on the current
intersections to become free-movement
intersections in addition to the construction of
brides and tunnels with transferring the main
services, which includes the following:
 Developing 3 main intersections
connecting South Surra area.
 A bridge that connects between Sixth ring
road with Sheikh Jaber hospital.
 8 flyovers. 6 ground-level bridges.
 4 tunnels.
 11km of roads development.
 2 pedestrian bridges.
 landscaping.

 Awarded. Preparing for signing.

Study , design and supervision of upgrading the government network queries in southSurra around
Jaber hospital
The project aims to:
Solve the expected traffic congestion
problem in South Surra in Hawalli
governorate after the completion of
projects that are being implemented in
the area, and that is through the
development the roads network to
secure a free traffic movement to reach
Sheikh/Jaber Hospital from the
surrounding highways and develop the
area’s entrances and exits and conduct
some required improvements for the
surrounding highways.
The current status :
 The recommendation has been adapted
to award the tender RA/256 works for the
least bidders on 2/11/2015.
 The documents for tenders (RA/257 and
RA/258) have been prepared and sent to
the regulators for presenting. The
recommendation for presenting on the
least bidders has been approved on
2/11/2015.
