Chapter 1 - Projects
From the Ministry of Public Work’s vital projects that have been accomplished, and that contribute
to raising the efficiency of the services and facilities of the current and future stages creating
multiple sewers in different regions of the State of Kuwait projects , which aims to improve the
performance of rainwater drainage networks .
First:
Project: Main sewer in Sheik/Jabir and Sheik/Saad cities :
Completion date: October 2013.
The project is located in Al Jahra governorate and starts from Amghara area, located on the Sixth Ring Road towards
the sea, through the Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah road and by its end at the (J3) exit.
This includes the creation and maintenance of a main water drainage sewer for water drainage of the new residential
areas in the city of Sheikh / Jaber al-Ahmad, Sheikh/ Saad Al-Abdullah suburb, industrial Amghara area in Jahra, and
linking them with the residential areas mentioned above.
Total length : 4 km
Second:
Project: Airport road sewer with its intersection with the Fourth Ring Road towards Jamal Abdul
Naser road :
Completion date: May 2013.
The project aims to separate the Airport Road’s sewer and its rainwater drainage network from the Ghazali Street
sewer (C4), and that is as a result of the urban expansion, and the inability of the Ghazali sewer’s to absorb the amount
of discharged water.
The project is located in Al Farwaniya governorate and it serves the following areas:
A part of Al Farwaniya region – Khaitan – Qortuba – Al Yarmouk – Kaifan – a part of Al Jarha road – a part of Jamal
Abul Nasser road .
Total length : 0.582 km .
Third:
Project: Muhamad Abdul Qassem street sewers with its intersection with the Fourth Ring Road
towards Jamal Abdul Nasser road:
Completion date: March 2013.

The project is located in Al farwanya governorate, and it serves the following areas:
Jeleeb Al Shyokh – Mubarak Al-Abdullah – Ashbelia – Part of Al-Rai area – Al-Riq’i – Part of the Industrial Shuwaikh –
Health Al-Sabah area .
Total length : 0.670 km .
