Study Design and supervision Agreement for Construction of Regional Road South Part -Phase II.
The project aims to:
Developing the Seventh Ring road to
connect between the Fahaheel highway
until Salmi road with a length of
approximately 88 km to make it a free
movement traffic road without any traffic
lights, and the permitted speed is from 80
to 120 km/h, with the provision of all
infrastructure, cosmetic planting, and
trees belt services in each direction. It
includes 8 lanes (3 per direction), and a
4th lane has been taken into
consideration for a future expansion with
the provision of trucks waiting service and
pedestrian bridges.
Total intersections: 16
Phase II is divided into 3 parts.
The current status :
 The tender’s documents RA/268 have
been submitted and a copy has been
sent to the Department of Civil
Aviation.

The project aims to:
Constructing roads and intersections for
the current part of the Seventh Ring road
starting from Fahaheel highway until
Kabd area. Total roads length is 22 km
and includes 7 intersections.
The current status :
 Underway the project’s
implementation, as it will begin on
22/12/2016.
