Study , design and supervision for construction and maintenance of regional road north part – phase ll
The project aims to:
Accommodate the expected increase
in population and vehicular traffic
resulting from new residential areas in
the region. The second phase aims to:
Developing the current Salmi road
starting from its intersection with the
Sixth Ring road until Saudi Arabia’s
borders with a length of approximately
101 km to become a regional road with
a width of 150 meters and 4
expandable lanes, it also includes 13
intersections.
The current status :
 Awaiting the consultant’s demands
documents to be studied, and the
insurance document in order to pay
the installment.

The project aims to:
The first contract extends to a distant of
20km from the Sixth Ring road towards
Al-Salmi road, and meets with
intersection 82 with the southern
Regional road and the linking Abdali
road (eastern – western), connecting
the southern part of the country with its
northern part. The first phase includes
2 ways, each containing 4 lanes and
covers 4 intersections and a
passageway to the regional railway
