Construction, completion and maintenance of roads,
bridges and other services for the First Ring road for the
trading area – 3rd group
The project aims to:
develop and upgrade the existing roads
and increasing their capacity in addition to
the preservation of historic buildings and
providing the sufficient capacity to switch
traffic. The project begins at the
intersection in Al Shuhada Street and up
to the end of Khalid bin Al Waleed Street,
as well as crossing intersections in Al
Marri Street, Mubarak Al-Kabeer
Street and Abu Obeida Street.
The scope of works for this group includes
a lower tunnel which consists of two lanes
at each direction, and the proposed way
up the tunnel which consists of two lanes
at each direction in addition to the turning
lanes.
The current status :
 Has been bided and currently
awarded.
