Control and Audit Sector

The Control and Audit Sector reviews and audits the change orders and the consequent financial and time burdens. The sector decides how far they are needed before approving the change and extension orders by the competent entities, and then it follows-up the completion of approvals by the competent entities. It also participates in the committees and work groups that are formed to study the contractors' claims, lawsuits and arbitration cases in which the Ministry is a party. Moreover, it compares the prices and categories recorded in the accomplishment lists according to which the payment certificates were issued to the ones mentioned in the project contract; in addition to tracking the occurred discounts, fines, etc. Furthermore, it follows-up the value of the issued payment certificates and the remaining amounts of the funds.
