The Transport and Mechanical Engineering Department undertakes providing light and heavy transport vehicles, adjusting their movement and following up on their maintenance. In addition, it supervises the implementation of the contracts related to providing the Ministry needs of vehicles of different kinds.
The Transport and Mechanical Engineering Department is affiliated to the Coordination and Follow-up Control which comprises the following sections:

- Tools and Heavy-Machinery Section.
- Central Workshop Section.
- Coordination and Accounting Section.
