Improve Al-Abdely road from the future Mutla’a city to the intersection with the northern regional road

The project aims to:
Connecting Al-Mitlaa city (Intersection 1) with the
Regional road’s link that’s coming from the south
of Al-Salmi road by a length of 27km (3 lanes per
direction).

 Presented, and underway awarding.

Study,design and supervision Agreement for Construction of Regional Road North Part -Phase I
The project aims to:
Accommodate the expected increase in
population and vehicular traffic resulting from the
new residential areas in the region and is divided
into two phases:
Phase 1:
Aims to develop the current Abdali highway
starting from Mitla city until Abdali through
increasing the number of lanes to at least 4 lanes
per direction, in addition to emergency lanes and
service roads. It also aims to develop a side
highway road that connects between Salmi road
until Subiya city with 5 lanes per direction, and
from Abdali road to Subiya road with 3 lanes per
direction. Phase 1 is divided into 5 parts.
The current status :
 Several meetings have been held with the
Municipality regarding the Abdali farms
conflicting with the fence barrier in contract
RE/244, and a meeting with the Interior has
been held regarding Mitla security center and a
meeting was held with Zain Communication
Company to solve the subject of moving the
towers locations.
