Construct, complete and maintenance roads and intersections in the
southern region from north Abdullah port – Al-Wafra to North Kabd
The project aims to:
To face the increasing traffic density due to urban
development and population growth in these areas and
raise the absorptive capacity and reduce traffic
congestion and raise the level of services
Total length: 29km
Regional road – southern part (Phase 1)
Total length: 127km
No. of intersections: 14
No. of passageways that are intersecting with the
highway bridges: 22
No. of passageways that are intersecting with the
GCC’’s railway bridges: 3
Camels crossings: 2

منطقـة كبـد بطـوث حـوالي ( 21.8 ) كـم
ويشـــمل عـــدد 7 تقاطعـــات وشـــمل
المشروع تطوير الطريق الدائري السـاب ع
لتصبح الحركة المرورية عليث حركة حره
بــدوا أيــة إشــارات مروريــة والســرعة
المسموحة عليث لتصبح 80 كم إلـى 120
/كم م ًساعة بدلا /كم06 . ساعة
تـم تصـميم الطريـق بعـدد 6 3– حـارات
حارات بكل جهة مع إضـافة حـارة رابعـة
في كل إتجاه للتوسعة المسـتقبلية مـ ع
توفير خدمة إنتظار الشـاحنات وجسـور

الشدادية ( طريلأ السابع المرحلة الأولى )
Develop, execute and maintenance 7th ring road from the coastal road in Al-
Nuwaiseeb road to Al-Shedadiya (7thring road)-( First stage)
The project aims to:
Connecting the Fahaheel highway with Kabd area
by a length of approximately 21,8km. Includes 7
intersections The project contains the development
of the Seventh Ring road in order to turn its
traffic into a free traffic movement without any
traffic signals, and change the allowed speed to 80
– 120 km / h instead of 60 km / h, with all the
infrastructure and landscaping services with the
trees belt along each direction
The road has been designed with 6 lanes – 3
lanes per direction, in addition to taking in
consideration the addition of a 4th lane in each
direction for future expansion with providing truck
waiting services and pedestrians bridges

للتطور العمرانـي والزيـادة السـكانية فـي
هـذه المنـاطق ورفـع القـدرة الأسـتعابية
وتقليل الإزدحـاب المـروري ورفـع مسـتوي
