A statement about the Pumping stations (PS ) in the state of Kuwait

Rigai pumping station :

The gradual operation of Rigai pumping station started in July 2011, followed by the official opening of the station.

The Rigai pumping station is one of the biggest pumping stations in the Middle East. 29 old pumping stations were eliminated

to replace them with this new station, which saves up the operation and maintenance expenses and to preserves the

environment. Subsidiary tunnel lines of the station have also been constructed to receive the incoming sewage flows for the

next 50 years, with a total length of more than 43 km.

The total capacity of the plant is 778.000 m³ / daily.

The pumping station pump the sewage flows through four pipelines with a diameter of 1000mm to Al-Ardiya pumping station.

Where the flows are aggregated in Al-Ardiya station and pumped to Al-Sulaybia treatment plant (BOT).
