- Projects - The most important Future projects

The Most Important Future Construction Projects :

Ministries Complex to serve the northern region of Al Jahra:

Beneficiary: Ministry of Finance.

The project aims at reducing the pressure on the current ministries complex and facilitate the review of the citizens and the elimination of over

crowdedness in the region and aims also at improving government services in Kuwait in general and particularly in the northern region and

for the most part through the provision of 19 sub-governmental offices to serve the people of Al-Jahra province and the project is considered

as a distinctive architectural landmark due to the modern designs that help to exploit the building optimally either governmentally,

commercially or socially. The project also falls within the category of smart buildings as it contains modern systems and alternative energy

technologies.

The project is located on a total area of 300,000 m ² western Al Oyoun area and is bounded to the north by Al Jahra Road and bounded on

the south and west, the sixth Ring road. It is bounded on the east by Al Oyoun residential area and x the project site is about 32 km northwest

of Kuwait city, the capital.

The well-designed government buildings are considered an important and a substantial part and in cities for its contribution to the increase in

the urban efficiency of the city, and this project contributes to providing constructive assistance to government agencies that seek to achieve

tangible results in the community as well as the economic development. The project has been designed to accommodate and facilitate the

delivery of public services and contribute to improving the quality of urban infrastructure in the public spaces of the city. It also addresses the

new trend in architecture through using strategies that strengthen the consumption of energy efficiently and improve the use of environmental

resources through four strategies and are as follows:

1 - the ability to adapt: aims at increasing the building's capacity to accommodate the change to be more efficient and remain in service for

a longer period.

2 - Accessibility: aims at achieving easy and direct access to a number higher than 10,000 employees other than the auditors and visitors

through internal and external roads network and wide doorways.

3 - Contact: aims at strengthening communication and interdependence between all the different government agencies.

4 - Sustainability: aims at reducing energy consumption and reducing the negative environmental impacts of buildings.

Elements of the project:

The project consists of four identical buildings) A, B, C, D (each of them consists of six floors and these floors are above the other two floors

plus the ground floor to form together what is known as Podium) (which includes all the governmental bodies and organizations that deal

directly with the public in addition to shops and economic activities and service facilities.

The project mediates central plaza (E building) and it is a central hall to connect all parts of the project to each other and this is the perfect

place for events and celebrations and special activities.

Garden Design: four gardens which contain many green elements and different water bodies surround the ministries complex building.

North Lawn: Contains extensive green spaces and water bodies in addition to sports fields that can be invested and shaded places for

visitors and open spaces. There is also places to sell all the necessary services to the visitors.

The eastern part of the park was deducted to create a purification plant for water-saving irrigation autonomously and continuously and also to

create a major transformation project to serve the region and the entire station.

The South Park: Contains extensive green spaces and water bodies and places for rest with all services necessary.

East and West Garden: covered with an area of green grass and flowers and shrubs to be grown on the surface the project's water tanks.

Entrances and exits: There are four entrances to employees in the four corners of the buildings and these entrances lead to the parking lot

that stretches across four basements

There are also four entrances for visitors, two entrances in the North Lawn and two entrances on the South Lawn, and these entrances

lead to parking spots that are reserved for visitors’ cars, while the VIP entrances are located in the eastern side of the site. Cargo, goods

and service entrances are located in the eastern side of the site with outdoor parking lots.
