- Projects - The most important Future projects
The Most Important Future Road Projects:
The internal roads that aim at developing and improving the infrastructure surfaces such as roads, drainage,
providing fresh water, irrigation, drainage of rain water, electricity, telephones and lighting networks.
Building up and providing maintenance for roads and rain water canals in the north west of Al Jahra region.
This project aims at providing infrastructure services and a network of internal roads in addition to linking them with the main
network through building up roads to accommodate the anticipated increase in traffic density so as to serve the residents and
visitors of the north west of Al Jahra region due to the anticipated urban expansion in this region. This project will lead to the
decrease in traffic jams and the ease of movement in and out of the region together with improving the standard and efficiency
of roads.
The total length of roads in the project is 5.366 km in addition to carrying out the drainage network and water drainage network
and other services such as (electricity, lighting , telephone, agriculture….)
Building up and providing maintenance for roads and rain water canals in Khaitan region plot s 3 and 4 .
This project aims at developing the road network surrounding the regions, through the widening of the existing roads from a
two-way road to a road with two lanes at every direction and building up roundabouts at the south of Khaitan region as well as
building up several facilities to serve the anticipated and existing services in the region.
The total length of roads in the project is 35 km.
Designing, building up and providing maintenance for the infrastructure in Al Shaqaya industrial zone (Al Na’ayem).
The project is divided into two parts
The first part (a) the industrial zone and the second part is (b) the junk yard
Aims at developing the roads and infrastructure according to the main plan which involves building up and providing
maintenance for the following:
Road network including the main, secondary and connecting infrastructure in addition to the stops.
All the requirements of infrastructure such as rain water drainage, water reserves, electricity, street lighting and telephones to
serve the residents of the region.
All related facilities such as tanks, pumping stations, power stations and drainage units
An external connection to link the regions with the main network of roads.
Building up roads and facilities in Khaitan region surrounding the administrative and commercial Centre and Guleb Al
Shoyokh region around the plots assigned for societies of public interests.
The project aims at increasing the capacity of the existing roads and decreasing the traffic jams and promoting higher
standards of safety and security through building up roads and facilities surrounding the administrative and commercial Centre
in Khaitan region in addition to building up several car parks to serve a lot of the existing and the anticipated services. The total
length of roads in this project is 2.442 km.
As well, the project aims at building up roads and facilities in Guleb Al Shoyokh region around the plots assigned for societies
of public interests plot number 5 in addition to development of internal roads and car parks for the societies. The total length of
roads in this project is 1.685 km.
Building up and providing maintenance for roads, drainage and rain water canals in the area that is located in the east
of Al Jahra region.
This project aims at building up, providing and maintenance of infrastructure services and the network of internal roads in the
area that is located in the east of Al Jahra region in order to provide services for the youth center, buildings that belong to the
general authority of traffic and the building of Al Jahra governorate through providing a network of roads, entrances, exits and
parking lots to serve the building.
The project involves carrying out the drainage network, water drainage network and other services such as (electricity,
lighting , telephone, agriculture….)
The total length of roads in the project is 3.215 km
