The Most Important Future Road Projects:
Building up pedestrian bridges at different areas in the State Kuwait :
The project aims at decreasing traffic accidents and fulfilling security and safety requirements on express and internal roads as well as
the development of Road Network From through building up several pedestrian bridges that can be used by pedestrians to cross the roads
( according to the modern specifications that were set up by the municipality of Kuwait which require that Pedestrian bridges shall be roofed )
at different locations in the state of Kuwait. These locations are important and sensitive areas due to the enormous amount of accidents of run
over that take place at these areas .
The project is divided into two groups with a total of 24 bridges .
The first group of bridges:
Executive Situation: the contract has been signed in July 2016.
The project involves building up 12 bridges which are :
• The development of a pedestrian bridge opposite of Al Farwaniya hospital above Road 602.
• The development of two pedestrian bridges, one is located between Riyadh region and Riyadh Trades zone in front of Al Salam
mosque, and the other one is located between Riyadh region and Al Riyadh Trades zone in front of Al Mekhyal mosque.
• The development of pedestrian bridges at several sites on the road to the airport between Khaitan and Al Farwaniya regions .
• The development of a pedestrian bridge to connect between Khaitan &the area that lies south of Al-surra above King Faisal road 50.
• The development of a pedestrian bridge to connect between Seville area plot number 4 and Al Nasr Sports club at Riyadh region for
government services.
• The development of a pedestrian bridge to connect between Al Waha area and the investment section.
• The development a pedestrian bridge to connect between Al Salam area plot number 7 and Hittin area plot number 2.
• Moving an existing pedestrian bridge on the Fifth Ring Road between Al Raqe'i area And Riyadh trades zone .
The second group of bridges:
Executive Situation: the contract has been signed in July 2016.
The project involves building up 12 bridges at several areas, which are:
• A pedestrian bridge that links between Bayan area plot number 11 in front of Lulua Youssef Al Zabin mosque and Mishref area plot
number 2.
• The development of two pedestrian bridges at Al She’b Al Bahry area plot number 1 and plot number 2.
• The development of a bridge to link between Bayan area plot number 12 next to Imam Al Hussein Bin Ali mosque and Mishref area
plot number 6 in front of Mishref Center for International Telecommunications.
• The development of a pedestrian bridge to link between Salwa region and Anjafa beach.
• The project also includes roofing the pedestrian bridge that links between Al Adeeliya region And Al Khalidiya region.
• To reconstruct a bridge between Al Fayhaa and Kaifan to change the slope of the bridge from circular shape to straight.
• The development of two pedestrian bridges at two locations between Al Adan hospital in Hadiya area and Al Raqqa area.
• The development of another bridge to link between the two plot s number ( 7 ) , ( 8 ) and the two plot s number (1), (6) at Mubaral Al
Kabir area on Al Ghaws street.
• The development of a pedestrian bridge to link between Hawally area and Al Salmiya above the fourth ring road.
• The development of another bridge on the first Road Ring in front of Al Adalah palace.
