The Project atims to :
General maintenance of roads and
highways in Kuwait and what is
associated with them like the shoulders
of the roads, diversion, culverts, steel
and concrete bridges, pedestrians
bridges and others.
The most important items of the project
work program are:
 Supplying expansion joints works for
steel and concrete bridges and
maintenance for shock absorbent and
maximum height.
 Maintenance of asphalt for parts of
Al-Jahra road, King Faisal road,
Sabhan road, Ghazali road, Al-
Nuwaiseeb road and First Ring Road.
 Create new culverts on Fahaheel
road - Om Al-Haiman area.
 Maintenance of the concrete barriers
in sporadic places in Highways and
bridges.
 Maintenance of the intersections
which includes (intersection 15 King
Abdul-Aziz with Cairo street,
intersection A53 sixth Ring Road with
the airport, and intersection B53 Sixth
Ring Road with Ghazali road.
 Maintenance of Southern Mina
Ahmadi road between intersection
(80 and 81), and Western Mina
Ahmadi road between intersection
(82 and 83), Mina Shuaiba road
between intersection (84 and 85), and
Al-Wafrah between intersection (88
and 89).
The project covers: sandy works, base
layer works, asphalt works, concrete
works, streams of rainwater works, , line
marking and traffic signs works, metal
works, maintenance of steel and
concrete bridges, and services and
miscellaneous works.
Current Status :
The first award is done, and the
completion of the procedures is in
progress
