Implementation, operation, and maintenance of the treated water tanks networks – Phase D1
The project aims to:
Environment protection and prevention of
any floods flowing into Kuwait bay through
an integral system in order to join the
emergency lines to all of the stations and to
rain drainage channels. Also, construction
of deep tunnel system in order to transfer
untreated water from pump, lift and
purification stations to a new purification
station.
Agreement period: 3 Year.
Current Status:
 Completion of holding several
discussion circles with international
consultants who have experience in this
field. . Currently, taking approvals and
preparing documents of the terms of
references (T.O.R) of the consultative
agreement. A list of the global consultation
offices has been prepared and approved by
the undersecretary of the ministry.
The expected date of placement of the
agreement: January 2017.
The project aims to:
Construction of pumping stations of (16)
tanks for the purposes of cosmetic
gardening, (16) tanks and construction of
a pumping station to transfer the treated
water to the places higher than the area’s
(DMC) level to deliver the water to the rest
of the sites by natural flow. The project’s
area is located between east of Al-
Ghazali Street to west of Al-Jahra area
and from north Jamal Abdel Nasser Street
to the south of the Seventh Ring road and
the construction works of a power station
and its affiliated cables.
Project's period: 54 months
Current Status:
 Under signing phase.
