Study,design and supervision Agreement for Construction of
Regional Road North Part -Phase I
The project aims to:
Accommodate the expected increase in
population and vehicular traffic resulting from
the new residential areas in the region and is
divided into two phases:
Phase 1:
Aims to develop the current Abdali highway
starting from Mitla city until Abdali through
increasing the number of lanes to at least 4
lanes per direction, in addition to emergency
lanes and service roads. It also aims to
develop a side highway road that connects
between Salmi road until Subiya city with 5
lanes per direction, and from Abdali road to
Subiya road with 3 lanes per direction. Phase 1
is divided into 5 parts.
The current status :
All of the related contracts has been tendered
except IR/244 because of lots of obstacles that
are currently being solved with the Municipality
(area + organization) the consultant and the
agriculture.
