Sulaibiya Treatment Plant is one of the largest treatment plants that use “Reverse Osmosis” technology to treat sewage water. The plant operated in 2004 of design capacity 425000 m3/d, while the maximum design capacity after expansion have reached 600000 cubic meters per day. The plant produces quaternary treated water up to 350000 m3/d .

Al Riqqa Treatment Plant was established in 1982 of design capacity 85000 m3/d and expanded in 1999 having maximum design capacity up to 180000 cubic meters per day. It has a discontinuance plan to be out of service; transporting sewage water to Umm Al-Haiman plant by 2022.

Kabad Treatment Plant was established in 2011 of design capacity up to 180000 cubic meters per day. Also, it is expandable till 270000 m3/d.

Umm Al-Haiman Treatment Plant was established in 2001 of maximum design capacity up to 27000 cubic meters per day. The plant produces tertiary treated water with “Ultra Violent” technology

Sabah Al-Ahmad Treatment Plant was established in 2009 of maximum design capacity up to 5000 cubic meters per day.

Al-Wafra Treatment Plant was established in 2002 of maximum design capacity amount to 6000 cubic meters per day.
