On Wednesday, 22 January 2020, Mr. Ismail Al-Failakawi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Public Works, received Dr. Khaled Mahdi, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Planning and Development, and the accompanying team to cover one of the major strategic projects in the state’s development plan and to learn about progress of works. A visual presentation was made, during which the airport project team reviewed the current executive state of the project, and the completed work was reviewed during an inspection tour of the site. Completion rate reached 27% and the Ministry of Public Works seeks to cooperate and coordinate with General Secretariat of the Supreme Council of Planning and Development to overcome all obstacles that face the execution of the project to ensure that it is moving forward according to contractual schedule.
